Using our advanced fire hydrant testing equipment we can measure the flow of the fire hydrant and monitor the consistency of the flow. We can also estimate the water usage per minute.
It is essential that fire hydrants are tested and it is recommended that businesses test their fire hydrants on an annual basis. It is estimated that 35 % of fire hydrants on commercial premises are either not adequate or are malfunctioning.
Our technicians can test and maintain a fire hydrant in accordance with BS9990:2006/BS5306.
Hydrant Testing and maintenance should be conducted for both insurance purposes and to ensure operability if a fire was to occur.
